About Us

180 Projects is an alternative art centre based in Baawaating / Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. We are dedicated to presenting exhibitions, events and programs that promote discourse on and exposure to a wide range of contemporary and experimental art practices. We do this by acting as a link, a host and a catalyst: connecting artists/cultural workers and communities locally and regionally to those elsewhere in Canada, and internationally; and providing a supportive, inclusive environment for local and visiting artists/cultural workers at all stages of their careers.
